Salman Khan has set sights on his next project. The Bollywood superstar will commence shooting for Dil Raju's next production, tentatively termed as “SVC63,” on April 18 in Mumbai, Variety India has learned.
The first schedule will kick off at the SRPF Ground in Goregaon, where an elaborate set replicating a dense urban area has been constructed. Salman is expected to film a high-octane action sequence there. The makers have planned an extensive three-month schedule spanning Mumbai and multiple locations across India and are aiming to wrap up the principal photography by August-September 2026. Although the release date hasn't officially been announced yet, the film is being positioned for a theatrical release during Eid 2027.

The yet-untitled action drama features an ensemble pan-India cast in leading roles. Nayanthara, who made her Hindi cinema debut with Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee's 2023 blockbuster "Jawan" (2019), will play the leading lady, while Anil Kapoor and Arvind Swamy have also been roped in for pivotal parts. The film is being directed by Telugu filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally, best known for helming mass entertainers like “Yevadu” (2014), “Oopiri” (2016), “Maharshi” (2019), "Maatrubhumi," and “Varisu” (2023).
Salman is heading to start this new film even before the release of his upcoming war drama, “Maatrubhumi”. The Apoorva Lakhia-directed project was initially supposed to release on April 17 but has been indefinitely postponed due to the sensitivity of its subject matter. Although the makers have released several songs and behind-the-scenes footage, a new release date is yet to be announced. The promotional assets released so far have all received a lukewarm response.
