‘Raja Shivaji’ Makers Share Glimpse of ‘Chhatrapati’ Anthem Ahead of Official April 13 Drop
By Sakshi Navare,
Jio Studios and Mumbai Film Company have released a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the “Raja Shivaji Anthem, titled Chhatrapati,” composed by Ajay–Atul, following the earlier launch of the film’s poster. The BTS video offers a look at how the track has been put together, focusing on the recording process and the scale the makers are aiming for with the music.
Directed by Riteish Deshmukh, who also serves as writer, producer and plays Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the film positions the anthem as a key part of its larger narrative and tonal design. The video features Ajay-Atul along with the technical team, working through the track's composition, arrangement and recording. The sound leans heavily on a chorus-led structure, clearly designed to land within a theatrical setting rather than as a standalone track.
