‘Dhurandhar 2’ Box Office: Ranveer Singh-starrer Continues Domination In Third Week, But Still Trailing ‘Baahubali 2’ and ‘Pushpa 2′

Ranveer Singh-starrer “Dhurandhar 2” is currently enjoying a one-horse race phase at the box office. With no big Bollywood release, the spy-actioner ended its third week on a high note by raking in 105.53 crore.

While it is a huge feat to enter the 100-crore club in its third week at the ticket windows, the film has failed to surpass the business of Baahubali 2 (127 crore), Pushpa 2 (129.50 crore) and “Dhurandhar” (172 crore) to become the highest third-week grosser of all time.

The film currently stands with a total of 1011.25 crore (Hindi (949.5 crore), Telugu (39.8 crore), Tamil (17.6 crore), Kannada (2.8 crore) and Malayalam (1.55 crore)). With another free run at the ticket windows, it will be interesting to see if it manages to surpass “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” (₹1030 crore) and “Pushpa 2: The Rule” (₹1234 crore) to become the biggest Indian grosser.

Apart from India, “Dhurandhar 2” has performed phenomenally well in the international markets. It crossed the $25-million mark in North America and the €1-million mark in Germany, thus emerging as the highest-grossing Indian film of all time in those territories.

Apart from Ranveer Singh, “Dhurandhar 2” saw R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, Gaurav Gera, Danish Pandor and Rakesh Bedi reprising their roles from the first part. The music of the film is composed by Shashwat Sachdev and the camera is cranked by Vikash Nowlakha.
